what is the accuracy/range like on it?

i say either a bt apex, or a cp classic. BT = Accurate and goes the distance, and is quieter than the flatty,

CP Classic = More accurate and quieter, but u lose all of the distance. AND FOR THE PRICE AT ACTIONVILLAGE.COM, get the Apex for 60$ or so......

action village wouldnt be any good to me were i live in newfoundland

why not? it's 60 USD.......not that much. But the shipping shouldn't be high either, but if so, u gotta head out somewhere else.....consider speedball, and look at my sig for a speedball gun.....take that into consideration

get a flatline , they add about a 100 foot distance on ur paint balls , its reall good for woods , if ur low on money get a jj ceramic barrel there only $30 but flatlines are 100 bucks

dude, apex is the way to go. they are 60$!!!! and apex's are wayy superior to flatlines! More accurate, quieter, more distance, the list can go on and on........o yeah, CHEAPER.

Man he is from canada, like me, and the apex is $100 or more, same as the flatline. I think the apex would be a better choice than the flatline because it is more accurate and can go the same distance. Good canadian sites are www.badlandspaintball.com (http://www.badlandspaintball.com), or www.canadianpaintball.com (http://www.canadianpaintball.com).

CP rules... I play at the field next to badlands often and I have begun to dislike badlands.

O.T-How come you don't like them?

I like the staff and prices and selection at Canadian Paintball better. Much better... will fix any gun (well nearly) while badlands will only fix it if they carry the product.

But badlands does have superior stickers... gotta love them stickers.

oh ic, I just ordered my lapco bigshot from badlands about 3 weeks ago. I like that site because it has cod, which i don't theink canadian paintball does. But maybe I am wrong.

i think the flatline would be ideal for me because i dont want to risk 100 $ on somthing i never had used before liek the apex

No please don't make that mistake. The apex(109.99) it is cheaper than the flatline(142.99). The flatline chops paint badly, the apex is more accurate, has a flatline setting, curve settings, and drop settings. The flatline only shoots far and chops paint.

bigshot is the best barrel you can get for a tippmann imo

dukedude4evr
10-23-2006, 01:43 PM
the bigshot and the apex are the best for a 98. The 98 flatty SUCKS, the a-5 flatty isn't bad, but the 98 one sucks, the apex, which i never have used, is good and is ezier to use, and is ajustable from shortrange, to long range.

Yea the bigshot is a great barrel. As far as adding range I think it would be best to get a just a normal barrel like a cp1 piece, j&j ceramic, or a lapco bigshot.

apex.....like i said above, accurate, quiet, shoots far. Lapco, accurate, nice sized, cheap?

The 98 Flatline is outdated, expensive, and poor performing. The Apex is a much better choice.

I would say get a 14'' or 16'' Smart Parts Linear, it's very accurate and the range is good. it only cost $35 US Dollars.

look at the video.

Not to call you dumb or anything, but this is pbREVIEW.... FYI, I have owned both the flatline, and the apex, when all is said and done, the apex is superior in every way. It can go farther then the flatline, is lighter, and you can turn off the flatline properties if you are forced to use substandard paints. Plus, it does not need to be shot at a consistent 275 for peak performance. It's a much better buy. If you don't go apex, get a CP will be fine, can't ask much more for the $

"Sweet" has 5 letters. There's six stars up there, so you don't have "sweet" in the post.

BTW, it's the Empire Twister, not Twisted.
