alright here is what im thinking about doing to my 98. im getting another left reciever half so i can do all the milling without really worrying about messing up my gun and then not being able to use it. let me know what you guys think

1. milling off the tippmann 98 custom
2. milling off the front grip but i wanna find something to cover it up (still not sure about this)
3. blow back vents
4.quick strip reciever mod

what do you guys think?

also with the quick strip mod and the blow back vents will this cause the gun to loss to much ex gas? i have a rt and a cyclone let me know thanks

if you have the cyclone, you dont need blowback vents... unless youre doing it for looks...

change the front bolt oring to a tank oring... that will help with blowback...

for the quick strip... you wont really need that one either.... you got a cyclone, you should experience much, if any, chopping issues....

as for only milling the left receiver.... you would need to round off the grip on both halves...

if you arent comfy doing your own milling, i do custom tippy stuff...

i do chop alot and once it starts it really doesnt stop so i wanna be able to clean it good on the field.

as far as rounding off the grip i dont wanna do that i want to cut the whole thing off

it may be the paint itself... either bad paint... or it could be a bad match with the flatline.. .you need small/ small/med bore paint for it to work right, and preferably thicker shelled paint

put an RIS rain over the hole where the grip is, thats what I though of doing to my 98c

a actully got rid of the flatline im using a 14 in J&j ceramic barrel with the apex adapter on it. but the paint i use has always been good. i went to skirmish in pa a few weeks agao with the J&J only and it was bad alot of broken balls. i think they use midnight balls there. from what i hear there not bad
