B2K4 Pds question about pds

I did my annual cleaning and realized one of the wire were off of my pds.. i fixed it but are those eyes suppose to light up? How do I know if I fixed it?

the eyes are not supposed to light up.

turn the gun on (preferebly without air in it). make sure the eyes are unblocked and the breach is empty. pull the trigger, you should hear the solenoid click. now block the eyes with something (it is easiest to just slide the bolt forward) and pull the trigger, this time the solenoid should NOT click. that is how you know your eyes are working. if the solenoid clicks when the eyes are blocked, then they aren't working.

I thought it was the other way around: something had to block the eyes in order for them to allow the solenoid to fire (that something is usually a paintball, but the bolt works just as well). Lack of something blocking the eyes means that the ball isn't fully loaded, preventing firing. Or maybe I've just always had it backwards.

OK gotcha I still have the gun apart with the gun on and the eyes not facing each other the NOID clicks as soon as i pull the trigger.. When I face the eyes at each other I pull the trigger and there is a delay then it clicks. I think that has something to do with my NOX board settings.

yeah iconoclast, sorry, i had it reversed, stupid brainfart.

it might be doing that if you have it set to delay the shot instead of drop the shot.
