I have heard some people saying the Impulse has a problem with their Solenoids. Have any of yall experienced any problems w/ the Imp Solenod?

i think your talking about bolt stick. basically its where ur first shot is really low in velocity, where ur bolt just sticks in the forward position for a little longer than it should be. its not a big deal, i sugest u get the voodoo full flow, or the smart parts tape worm at least for it.

Just recently there has been a small run of Solonoids that have a problem. The odd thing is that it dosn't SEEM to be solonoid problem- you would think it was a board problem.

What happens is the ho matter where you put your Dwell, the veloicity doese not seem to change. Now normaly if you have a gun with these systems, you would think it was the board.

We we have just found that on a small batct of solohoids, they have a defective coil. It seems very odd, but we replace the coil in the solonoid and suddenly the dwell works perfectly!

Even with the large number of Impulses we sell, this is only in a few guns and of course it is fixed under warrenty.

news to my ears, glad Ive got an older model. So, did you catch all that when testing before shipping?
PS: where do you get new coils?

I just had to send my new imp back to FOM a few weeks ago, and i think they said it was a board glitch. It was really a weird problem and hard to explain but FOM and his crew fixed it up fine, so its all cool.

My impy has been being not so cool lately. I played one time and everything went ok. Next time i went i couldn't get the velocity to change and if i turned the dwell to much it wouldn't shoot at all and its been like this since. Could this be the probelm?

By the way the serial # is 7467.

It is under warranty...what should it ell my local shop to do with it? Or should i jstu send the gun back to Smart Parts and have them fix it?
