There's not much point in using the site anyway, paintball guns aren't accurate. Do some shooting drills until you aim naturally without a sight.

yea... waht kind of drills???
Hang milk jugs on different trees from diff hieghts and blast them and you'll improve your accuracy. takes time. Also don't aim down the barrel, shoot and see the the ball goes and put the next in the same direction.

Whether you think you do or not, pretty much everyone aims down the side of their barrel and the strategy of trying to aim off of previous shots doesn't work when you need the first ball to hit. Usually you only have a split second and sometimes have to "one ball em". And, if you don't have that nice of a setup, your shots may be all over the place.

learn to look out your bunker at an angle, or to just expose enough of your gogs to see the opposition's positions. make sure they are still there. then, pop out, fire 2 shots, and listen. I am good at this, but that's just me. I don't think the milk jugs thing'l work though, just because normally you'll be aiming for the pack or arm, not normally the gogs.

I move around behind my bunker constantly, I pop up VERY fast, like half a second and check everyone's position. Personally I don't reccomend snapshooting OVER bunkers because you have to show more of yourself to do it well....basically be random, switch sides...sometimes pop out from top corner of the side, next time be on your stomach and pop around bottom corner. The total area you show should be SMALL, and you should only be visible for a second. Your not aiming when you snapshooting, most likely you'll be aiming at the side of a bunker where you last saw your target, you know he is there. You Should pop out, find him. Then pop out again, fire. No aiming, you should know the general idea of where he is. Be fast, fire.
If you want to practice set a peice of plywood about 40-60 ft away, set up a 2nd peice of plywood to hide behind, practice shooting the side of the bunker.

ugh this is my best tactic but oh well.
When shooting most people tend to hold their barrel at eye height and next to their mask. This way of shooting is more comfortable and compact, but it also doesnt work when you're aiming, ull end up shooting wide.
When snap shooting, get a good look at where the person is you're going to hit. If you're going over the top[easier for the more inexperienced player] make sure you looked out the side, never look out the same place twice in a row. Now crouch down and place the back of your gun almost directly where your nose is. Start shooting, and pop up, looking at your target. Ull hit them almost every time. There's one problem though. When your guns in that position you cant see much at all, so come back down or move your gun to a different position after a couple of seconds

unless your'e closer than 35-40 feet then there isn't any point in aiming... usually at long ranges I don't even hold my marker up on my shoulder, I put the butt of the tank inbetween my elbow and the side of my stomach and that works just fine for me.... I've always been good at estimating range... so the only part of aiming that I have to concentrate on is moving the marker left to right, depending on wind resistance and other factors like that.......
