the frame looks incredibly fugly but you never know how it feels until you hold it.
The electronics are different (for the better) from it's ancestor.

old...........

anyways, for some reason it reminds me of an Angel 1

sorry it's old but I think WGP is going in the right direction for their products.............the top cocking bolt(whatever you call it) and the closed electronics. WGP next needs lighter faster guns to really make an impression.

10-29-2006, 01:14 PM
My God why? The frame is so crappy and stupid looking but yeah it might feel nice. But why make a new cocker? Cockers are a dying breed Bud needs to make something else.

Oldness.

WGP needs to stop making 'cockers and start competing w/ big-time companies. Plus, the Worrlord is freaking ugly.

undercockerdog
10-29-2006, 01:24 PM
It's kind of hard to make a completely new marker and the autococker isn't necessarliy thrown away yet. Bud could revamp the marker to become once again another top dog gun.

iliveforthis99
10-29-2006, 01:36 PM
Bud has already made a non cocker low-end so it wouldn't be hard at all to make a whole new gun that isn't a cocker. And besides wgp is partnered up w/ i think vl so they could make more non cocker guns but they'll be crappy as hell for sure as you see on the newer cockers.

when i mean't "make a new marker", I mean't making a "good" marker that can compete with shockers and above.

Psycho_warden
10-29-2006, 01:44 PM
I'm guessing the price will be around $350-$400, to compete with the DP Fusion, Invert Mini, Proto Rail, and the new SP Marker.

that frame is soo screwed. and the trigger is messed but maybe itll shoot good cuz the pmr has a weird trigger too

undercockerdog
10-29-2006, 01:55 PM
How can you conclude that it would shoot well if the pmr has a bad trigger and when neither of them have come out yet?

That has to be the most screwed up frame I have ever seen.

It seems to me that it doesnīt matter what type of marker WGP release. People will complain anyway, give the marker a chanse before you judge it. It could be the best gun you have ever tried, you never know until you try it.

Do you honestly expect that frame to feel good?

And I'm still waiting for a WGP version of the MQ valve.

I donīt know if it will feel good, but at least itīs worth a try before i make my decision. And thats my point, try it first and make your judgment later.

and what make a spool valve marker?

i do see what you mean to make a new marker or something but the market is loaded down with the ions, shockers, egos. it be super hard to sell.

imo.. the frame is fugging fuggly.. [as said above] but i disagree that autocockers are dead... ive been around many cockers and i believe that they will live on for a while.. as for a partnership w/ viewloader

They're not dead, just huge, hard to maintain and outdated compared to similarly priced markers. Which is why I think that WGP should start working on their own MQ valve and pair it with their newer pneumatics setup and some more heavy milling.

I have a WGP Black Magic and a Maniac Ego, and I donīt think the Black Magic is that huge, and itīs not that hard to maintain. They look more complicated then they really are. And as for performance, since most tournaments have a 15 bps limit the max rof is not a problem.

There is also one more marker coming from Worr Game, called the Worrlock.:)

Uziel Gal
10-31-2006, 04:53 AM
The Worrlock was originally a limited production marker from around 2002/3 - an '02 Mini Black Magic with a factory installed E-Blade frame. So if the Worrlock is coming back, it is either a re-release (like the "new" Mini E-Orracles), or they are applying the Worrlock name to a marker that has nothing to do with the original Worrlock (much like the '05/'06 has nothing in common with the '02 Black Magics other then the flame cosmetics).

crazee
10-31-2006, 05:00 AM
The new worrlock has nothing to do with the limited edition worrlock released earlier. This is a completely new marker.

frame is way ugly and why cover the peunmatics?

crazee

If you get hit in the front you wouldnīt have the pneumatics covered in paint.

With my computer having been out of action so long (still not 100%) I'm a bit out of loop on this one. Makes you wonder why they can't come up with original names for their markers..... Not a new thing though - anyone else remember the Ranger pump-action that was followed years later by the Ranger blow-backs? So much for originality.

crazee
10-31-2006, 06:20 AM
What can I say. As long as they donīt have both in production, it would get so confusing. . I actually had Ranger pump back in the good old days.

iliveforthis99
10-31-2006, 09:36 AM
I think they should just give up on cockers and work hard to design a new gun or if they can't come up w/ anything go custom house or make PL markers.

undercockerdog
10-31-2006, 09:47 AM
i love the look of the top cocking bolt and the integrated electronics. All it needs is to really fast out of the box and to be smaller and lighter. WGP could also improve on their frames like doing something like dye did with theirs.

Vyce-Gripp

Not to get too far off topic, but our local sporting goods store sells a WGP gun called the "Worr Machine", which is an overpriced Spyder clone.

The Worrlock is no cocker. Itīs what many players have asked for, a step away from the old cocker.

There is no link for the new Worrlock, Itīs still sort of a secret.

And I totally agree with you "cether" I think the cocker is the greatest marker. I have always been a big fan of WGP all the way back to the god old Sniper and Ranger days.

I love cockers ,but this one is ugly. Looks like black magic had a baby with......... its sister.:( I'm really dissappointed in WGP, after making an awsome marker like the new Black Magic, to come out with this.

For everyone's moaning about the frame, the gun dosen't look too bad, and I'm not gonna dis the frame before I hold it. And the frontblock/VA isn't too bad, kinda like a DC2.

i like it, but the frame looks bad, but yet it looks comfy (sp?) it kinda goes with the rest of te gun.

I bet it is very nice to hold, looks like it would shoot well.
It looks like it will be a good marker.

I like how it looks, the body seems great, but the frame is not as great. Though that trigger looks pretty cool IMO.

When you see the guy holding it, it doesn't look as uncomfortable as some think. As i said in the pbn thread, it looks like an old revolver grip.

I dislike the reverse 15* va more. Ugh.

Well it looks good on a revolver, though I looked at some and none have that curve at the top.

As a general statement, don't knock it 'til you try it. Seeing as probably nobody in here has held the marker, I don't know why everybody says the frame is uncomfortable or otherwise. Also, I really don't care about aesthetics in games.

Clarification: I don't admire my marker while being shot at or trying to get someone out.

and i doubt they would bother making a marker with a frame like that unless it was comfortable enough to hold.
