I have a question on a tippmann 98 custom i put the tank on and it sounds like there is air coming out of the valve. what do i do to fix this?

unscrew it. Then screw it back in. Your tank is probably overfilled. If not though.....check your asa and see if anything is in the way that would make the tank purge.......

Also, make sure you cock the marker before screwing in the tank. The rear bolt could be pressing against the valve pin just hard enough to open it and allow gas to escape.

Also make sure that the two screws on the side of the gun that hold the valve body in are tight. I know it doesn't make sense, but these really seem to cause leaks when they are loose. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN THEM THOUGH! They strip very easily!
If all else fails, you may need a new cupseal.

if all else fails buy a new cvx valve ..... 30 bucks and problem solved...
