Hey guys, i have like 1500 balls and alot of them have dimples and are warped or what not.
is their anyway to undo this?
my plan is too roll them around everyday so that hopefully they can re-shape.
any other ideas?

If they are old paintballs, you're screwed. If it's whitebox/something similar, why did you buy it in the first place? If it's decent paint and was purchased under a week ago, talk to the guy/store you got it from.

Well, if you've got some fine-tuning to do then now's your chance. May be ok for some recball. But otherwise count that paint as a loss.

This is about your best option.

I forgot where I saw this and this post is relying on my sometimes inaccurate memory but here goes:
The day before you plan on using the dimpled balls, get a zip lock bag and toss in 500 balls and two teaspoons of water. Shake to distribute for 10 minutes. Dump them out on a large towel and gently roll them around in the towel for about 5 minutes. Put them back in a dry bag and seal. Keep them in a cool place until ready to use.
This information came from one of the PB manufacturers web site I just can remember which one. Seems to me the box had an American flag on it.
Good luck

Ummm.... I don't think that's such a good idea, water is death to paint... sure it wasn't oil or something? Water might make the shells rubbery...

yeah, if you put water with paintballs all it wil do is have them soften out and the shell wont harden again. That, or your going to end up with a paintbrick.

I would save it for recball or for use in the backyard.

2 teaspoons of water *might work with 500 balls ina ziplock bag - the point of the water is to soften the shells a little so that theyre more pliable and can be reshaped
IMO use only half to 1 teaspoon of water for 500 balls - that sounds like it wouldnt hinder the integrity of the paintballs in any way. then, if you need more water, just add another half-1 teaspoon.
also remember TEASPOON not TABLESPOON. bad personal experiences from cooking -_-

Instead of using water, I'd just leave them in a humid room.

wouldnt that kinda be detrimental to shaping balls though? if you just leave them ina room, theyre all gonna get flattened on one side as opposed to using water to help mold them into a perfect sphere.

Get a paintball de-dimpler :dodgy:
No, but seriously, try putting the paint in the bag with water. It might work.

^yeah. but just try it with a few hundred balls to see if it works. you don't have much to lose. even if it ruins them, its not like you were gonna be shooting many ppl out with that paint anyway, so no big loss.

kk, i tried it and it like totally didnt work.
i used a pod full of balls with a 1/2 teaspoon of water and i think it made it worst.
u guys were saying how i should use it for rec-ball but i cant since with dimples and warps the balls chop alot and so my accuracy and the ball even making it outta the barrel is slim to none.
i think with the left over paint ill make paint grenades, any other suggestions for what to do with them?

a) food.
b) dummy ammo for when noobs ask to borrow some - then the paint will break in their barrel and you can laugh at them.
c) get a smaller bore barrel + a gun that is easy on brittle paint....nah just go with (b).

There isn't really a cure for dimpled paint. Rotating it can help prevent it, but I'm not sure that it could help re-shape the balls. Humidity causes paint to swell, so that may correct some of the disfigurement of the shell. Large bore barrels and a spool valve are probably your best bet for crap paint though.
