I am looking into buying a higher end semi-auto marker. Don't know what to get though. I am looking at a AutoMag and a AutoCocker. Are there any other options I would have? I don't really like the looks of the AutoMag, but the AutoCocker looks awesome! I have heard its a pain to clean though. Any suggestions? Keep it under 600. A package would be good too. Also, the gun should be upgradable, durable, good looking. This is my first gun, but I have been playing for over a year. Looking for a gun that will last a while and give me my money's worth. Thank you

Well the autococker takes some time to learn but its worth it. I learned to time via the internet and got it damn good for my autococker. I would get a v feed 2001 autococker and a dye boomstick or stainless steel for around 530 then get 12volt revy.

HE doesnt need a vertical feed, for the extra money it costs on the net he could put towards a tank or something more usefull..

Get a cocker, definantly- unless you want to go electro.
If you get a cocker your first upgrades should be :
Barrel, Grip Frame and you should try to get a nitro tank.
As you can see by my sig there are TONS of upgrades you can do to the cocker :) if you have any questions about it just leave a message here

Oh ya if you get a cocker dont use the shroud it scratches crap up and looks *** :)

I don't think its worth my money for a vertical feed anyways. Good point Keikan. Seems to me like they would just get in the way. I don't think I want to go electro, yet. Nothing that fancy. I found a 2000 AutoCocker w/New Satin Finish / Enlarged Valve Chamber & New Exhaust Valve (Both compatible with CO2 & Compressed Air) / Machined Radius Sight / New Hammer plus Nelson Spring Kit / New Velocity Adjuster / Improved Cocking Lug / All Stainless Steel Rods / Wrap Around Grip / Carbon Fiber Frame / Custom Trigger Design and Spring Kit, for 329.99. Good price? Do I need to go with C02 or Compressed air? Also, looks are sorta important to me, not as important as performance, but I want a gun that catches peoples attention too. I like the styling of the more expensive AutoCockers. Could I do without that bulky black thing in the front of the AutoCocker? I will keep in touch, gotta get me a gun. Thanks soo much, Dan

hehe all those features are just the "improvements" over the 99 model, 330 is about the standard price online. You can stay with Co2 for a while and it will probably stay within +/- 5 fps. The bulky black thing in the front is called a shroud, I threw it away after the first day :). All it does is cover the front pnuematics which on the stock cocker arent too hot looking which is why you get nice chrome ones :). If you get a cocker then ide recommend you fine Something like Chrome Dye 45 Grip Frames and Dye Sticky Grips. And A nice barrel which there are a few nice choices for ( I use a Boomstick ). As far as performance you wont be dissappointed even with stock.. looks the gun doesnt look bad stock but as youve seen in many pictures im sure youll realize what all can be done to make it an awesome looking gun. :)

j Iwould go with an autocooker they may be hard to clean out but they are extremly aqurate and are very upgradeable I would say you should get a 2001 Autocooker wit vert feed and get a Revolution hopper with a 20 os co2

Ok, I will look into that Blazer. Looks like a good gun to me, as for the AutoCocker, that gun looks great!! Liking it a lot. But for my first gun, I don't know if I should buy something that involved. Only 15, so not a lot of $$$ to go around. Gonna take a look at the Piranha G3's coming out next month. Any other suggestions on guns? Keep the comments coming, and thanks for all the help.Dan

I'd get the Blazer over the cocker. I love Palmers stuff and that thing is insane. I've never shot a better gun and next year or later this year I might buy one. If you do get the Blazer you won't really need any upgrades. The only thing I'd put on mine is a .45 grip.
