Matrix and Intimmidator

Im about to buy either a matrix or a timmey so i need the pros and cons on these guns.

Ive heard that the timmeys trigger is pretty crappy.

tell me what u think of either gun.

Trigger is awesome. Fully adjustable, so you cant call it crappy. I personally like some side to side movement, which the trigger has, but if you dont, some shims will fix that easy as pie. The matrix is my second favorite gun, and between the two of em, they're actually really similar, with the exception that the matrix is a gas hog. Either way, you'll do real good. my personal preference is the timmy, but we already knew that :)

the accuracy on the matrix is amazing. the trigger is light and the gun can shoot as fast as anything. it never ever breaks balls since it shoots at 140-160 psi and with the trinity or rock regs itll shoot at 70 psi. the autococker shoots at 300- 370 for comparison. the matrix is a gas hog but since i play tape its not that bad. the timmy is pretty cool, its probably my third favorite gun behind the matrix and an angel. But I prefer the matrix over everything, get it.

well i play with timmy and so does my son and between the 2 of us we have at least 30 cases of paint through these and not one ball break,wait i didd have one.but as far as accuracy i can tell you the timmy rocks hard....good luck on what you choose....

70 psi is only the bolt movement, the gun dont actually fire that low :) As for accuracy, I've shot both and since I was using the same barrel, it's a fair comparison. Accuracy was exactly the same between the 2 of em.

i wondered why bob long plays with his difient, if the timmy is so great and such. not nocking it at all. but i wondered if he had some contract with icd or something.

Yeah, Bob hasnt used a defiant in a fairly long while now. And Bob makes the defiant, ICD makes the bushey

thats news to me because i have been out of the pb information loop for awile, last i heard anything he was still using it and i was wondering if he had a contract with icd because he borrowed the disign for the difient and him using the the difient in games would sell both bushys and difients since there so similar
plus he hasn't updated his website yet

I think the Matrix and the Timmy are the smoothest guns i ever shot. Over those 2 I take the Matrix but they are both a little out of my range (being in Jr. High).

Yeah matrices are also pretty slick, I know when a gun is good, even if it aint mine :) Between the two, it's all about feel, the timmy just felt right in my hands, and they're both damn smooth. Not alot of guns really make me go "Wow" when i shoot it, but the matrix is another one that did it for me. e-mag too, but that's just one crazy asz gun there

I agree with Twitcher.

The only guns I ever saw that truly mad me stand back and say "Holy ****" where the Impulse, Matrix, Timmy, and a Savoereign.

I dont see what the biggie about Angels is. They did not impress me at all performance wise. The Matrix is alot better than an Angel. Angels are good but 1/3 of the money you pay for it is strictly bragging rights.

The only guns that really make me say wow are the Timmy, the Matrix, the angel and the Defiant. Out of those 4 I like the matrix and timmy in a tie for first and angel in last.

You guys need to check out that gun made in Europe called the Sovereign. It is like an Autococker without the Timing and crap. Just as accurate as an Angel.

Nem, show up when we all go pballin, find me a working substitute gun for a game, and you can use my timmy for a round if you'd like. I'll have that timmy in the #1 spot if it kills me :)

Yeah me too. I was a back player, until the moment Pete told me "Ok, we have like 4 guys who want to play back, so you're gonna have to be a tape runner". Worked out well though, 'cause I really like front and in rec games I'm always runnin further up than anyone else anyhow. THat and this would work out, 'cause for the GT we'd have you and me in front, and fatty in back. And damn, I kinda pushed this post off topic :(
