Oh...

I've never had a bruse in my 2 years of rec-ball from not being in a building. All my 2000 bruses came from being inside a house or trailer or something...No kidding. Anyway, It was 2/14/02 And the game was Raid the Pentagon. A game were you get everyone in side a pentagon shaped building out. It was the last 30 Seconds of the game. I was to be in the back going inside the building and then suddenly the lead man splits. I was left in front, The surprise was over and I get 6 Markers pointed at me and all had itchy trigger fingers. Well, I don't need to say what happen next. but my Camos went from green to rainbow colors real quick and 50% of the balls left a mark... I really dispise raiding now.

playing in building = close quarter battle = ouch,

once at my field, we were playing in a small fort with a tower in the middle, well on the side there were small hidding places with small windows. ON little kid goes to hide there and cover on side, I guy sneaks on him and puts his barrel threw the window, the kid freaks and the shoots the kid from 1 foot away! the boy came out crying.

Back in my newbie days we used to play at this field called Sgt Splatters that had a scenario called attack and defend. The attackers had to take over this 2 story building, that was L shaped, which essentially was located on the back wall, and on part of one of the side walls (hence, the "L" shape). It was maybe a hundred feet long but only about 12 feet wide, so the inside was like a long hallway with a 90 degree curve. There were doorways though that you could use for cover and barricade yourself in agains other people in the buildings. It was actually extremely fun because there were 2 stair cases and one ladder that you could rush the 2nd story from. The really fun part though, was that because of the way the field was set up, alot of shoot outs took place at a range of maybe 6 feet, and more than a few people would lose their nerves and surrender. I think my crowning achievement was making 7 guys barricaded in one room give up :)

It was actually alot of fun to play that... unfortunately it was about the only thing fun there :|

Anyhow, building rushing is fun as hell

we dont have buildings at paintball long island, but they have a hill where one team attacks and the other defends. well one great thing is when the defenders spread out too much and dont take enough cover, we just rush em. all the defenders hear is
GOGOGOGOGO followed by a hell of a lota shooting. always works:)
cept when they work together....man was that a blood bath....

here in quebec and ottawa, theres a plce called delerium, its an indoor field and its dark with black lights, they use special rubber balls so they have to put the fps to 150. So the ball doesnt go far and thiers alot alot of close quarter battle, excellent to pratice your bunkering moves!:D

that is true. i play at splatters, and attack and defend eventaully ends up with a shoot out.

i watched one guy with a cocker go up the stairs, random firing ensued, then about 6 people left.
