11 kids surrender in a game...

We played a little rec ball/speedball (speedball but in dirt and using wooden bunkers, with burms, mounds, few trees) Anyway, in the back (or beginning for other team) 11 kids ran into one bunker. They left me sittin on the right side alone, one guy with me ran to center. The kids in the back were behind a tree and a bunker that was kind of in a pit. We held them off for 15 minutes while I screamed to get their a$$es out of the kiddy corner but no good. The guy in the middle got hit and eventually I gave up because I ran out of balls and got hit in the finger. As I'm walking off I hear a lot of laughing, I turn around and all 11 of them surrendered. We play a rule that if you bunker someone you have to ask them to surrender. They don't always and get a nice welt. But if your being shot at and in a hurry you can just wax them. It's not as *** as it sounds. But I found it amazing. They said they didn't need more balls because they didn't shoot any....

Whats the freakin point in even playin? I know 8 year olds who take more hits than them. It took an hour to explain that an ION, Proto Matrix, A-5, and a Karnivore don't hurt any worse than a cheaper gun.. Well there was another Matrix and some new guy had a DM5 or Dm6 I cant remember. They had nice guns because we played kids versus adults. 21 older vs 20 under. We lost...

I found it amazing personally, that was the first time I've ever talked down on someone for being new, I felt bad because I was left alone to be shot to H*ll while they all chatted and drank tea...

I realized that right after I posted it, I've got Firefox so I've got about 8 different Sections open and I was in the wrong one.

Either way I just found it funny. Maybe I'm bad at telling stories but it was funny at the time..

I work at a field. Kids don't like getting shot, end of story. I've played countless 1 on 20's and such just because it's fun. I tend to mercy 70% of the team usually, since newer players hate being shot by 'powerful' guns.

Nah west Tennessee. It's just a joke. The English steriotype is peace and tea time.

Nah the game after they actually listened to me once I explained that because the guns were 500+ (exception of the ION). We won the next one. The kids got em all out. I didn't get any. I just ran around and told them what to do. I was proud of them. And yea they are afraid of getting shot, everyone was their first game or two. Doesn't mean we can't get a good laugh out of it. I think back on my newbness and laugh. They will grow up and be just like us.

ahhh yes but ---spyder owners=cheap paint, cheap paint=more bounces, more bounces=more pain, so by the transitive property ---spyders=more pain:D

I'd agree, but I've done that in the past, and it usually turns into 15 people screaming at me because I'm the biggest :censored: in the entire galaxy. Even better is the time when they get shot 2-4 times, because of either I need to make sure it breaks, or they have a 'habit' for not feeling the shot.

I ran a kid down once with a sling shot and he laid on the ground and started begging for mercy. I just had a sling shot give me a break.

Newbz are funny... one time when I just went to the field to go to the proshop right beside it. I looked in the window and saw like 6 newbs running from one back bunker to the other (The two farthest bunkers). It was so funny cuz my brother was there watching too (though he dosn't play paintball), so I'm like, "These guys are noobs, don't learn from them... lets go..."
