I need help. I took my Tippy 98 w/ response trigger apart. Everything popped out of place. I'm not sure where everything goes in it. IF I can't fnd out how to fix it, can stores fix it for me? If so, about how much will it cost?

WOW, i thought i was the only idiot who did this [no offense]. I had taken my 98 apart (at that time I didnt have an RT) and pulled the frame off too quickly and carelessly. I ended up losing a few springs and the sear was bent. First, it is always smart to know the pnumatics of your marker, which is why i take my tippy apart very often. If you don't have a manual, download one and look at the chart. When I did this and was unsuccessful [due to lack of parts], i took it to my local shop and for $15 dollars, they put everything in and charged none extra.

Hope It Helps,
Ant

I found a manual at tippmann.com. I can see what I was putting in wrong places when I was trying to put it back together now.

Yea it goes on the pin closest to the rear bolt with the little u type thing for the sear spring. Then in rests on the one beside it.

thats your ball detent, it goes in the front on bottom where paintballs load in to stop them from rolling into the barrel, easy to put in when you look for it as there is a section that it fits neatly into, just look in barrel area just before threading.

the first time is always the toughest. the first time i opened my tippman the sear spring flew out and hit me in the eye. do it over and over again when you get bored. i can field strip my tippmann in a couple minutes.
