I am thinking of getting an A-5 and putting a scope on it. yes I know i cant use the scope to shoot with cuz paintballs dont fly straight and far enough, i want it for woodsball and scoping out bunkers and stuff like that from a distince.
does the cyclone get in the way? how much room does it leave for a scope? does anyone know if I can even put a scope on sue to the cyclone? does anyone who has a a5 with scope have a picture I can see?
Thanks
Dave

If you want some thing to see far just use a cheap telescope.

but will a cheep 6X fit on the a5 with the cyclone? or will the cyclone get in the way since I havent seen many scopes that are skinnier then the marker body. and i dont know how far offset the cyclone is.

Yes, it will get in the way, there are two fixes however. You can get an offset piccanny rail for the scope, or if you like it to be online with the marker, you can get an offset for the hopper. Either will work, but I think the offset hopper would be cheaper.

i just wanted to post to give you props. you just changed my idea on scopes!
i will be getting one soon after my barrel, stock and vest. its weird i never thought of it that way seeing that it would be VERY useful in the places i play in. and again...props

be careful with scopes though. the higher the magnification the higher the eye relief. if u dont kno...eye relief is how close your eye has to be to see through it. my friend has a 4x scope on his 98C. the eye relief is 2.6 inches on it. with a paintball mask on...it renders his scope completely useless. so unles syour paying a ton of money for a top quality scope that has a low eye relief then get a set of binoculars.

i'd go with a scope thats sets on the side of the gun rather than having to view over top. its more flush with the view of what the barrel is pointing at...i know theres a setup you could try. scopes arnt that smart of an option when mainly you need all the feild-of-view you can get...good ol' eyesight and keeness works well.

i would get an off set mount then mount a scope on that. If your just using it for sighting and recon it would still be good to use the stock sights to aim and shoot
