I am currently using a 16 inch Armson Stealth on a 98C. Should I upgrade it? IF so, give me suggestionns of barrels under $40 Got a low spending budget, I know.

How about the SP Progressive, Tear Drop, Linear, and the J&J Ceramic? Are they good for under $40?

I am currently using a SP linear barrel on my ION. With a good quality paint, this thing performs great, ofcourse you cant expect the accuracy of a 200 dollar kit, or expensive barrel. But, it is worth the 40 dollars that I spent.

Don't get the progressive as I have heard alot of negative things about it.

if there is no issue with the performance of your current barrel, then don't change it.

Save your money and use it to play more, or towards possibly upgrading to a new gun. If yo do ever decide to go for a new gun, then you will just have to get a new barrel for it anyway since the 98 barrel won't work

I know that that armson is not that great for clearing after a break. For $40 you can get a CP 1 piece. One of the most cost effective 1 piece barrels out. Also check out the Lapco Bigshot barrels. They look very good with Tippmans and perform well too.

But as stated, if it ain't broke don't fix it.
