Well the stock barrel on the gun is like .690 which means that it is a very large bore. Blaze paint is about .685-.687 so thats your problem right there. And don't worry, I had the same problem with my stock barrel. If you want to try a better fit you can try Zap, or some bigger bore paint. Or you can do like I am doing and get a CP barrel kit, or a Smartparts Freak kit. But try a little bigger bore paint first.

Anyway that is what their factory ads etc are putting out. It will shoot all of the following small/medium to medium bore paint very well.

Marbs (medium)
All stars (small medium)
El Tigre (small medium)
Slammers (small medium)
Premium Gold (medium)
RPS Premium (small medium)
Big Ball (small medium)
ProBall (small medium)
ProBall Platiumn (medium)
Team Colors (medium)
Powerball (medium)
Diablo Blaze (small medium)
Diablo Midnight (medium)
Diablo Inferno (small medium)
Quake (medium)
Zap varies by grade form small medium to medium.

Heck, your can shot all the RPS and PMI paintballs. Anyway you get the point .689 is a medium bore and so are most paints sold.

You do not need an after market barrel woith the Shocker, the AA is a very quiet and accurate barrel out of the box. What you may need is a good small bore and large bore barrel for the times that your paint is running small or larger than normal or when you are using old paint that has swollen some.

Hey, get the Freak and you will have every barrel size covered, if you are a tourney player.

The only variable is paint could vary in size depending on whether it is formulated for the Canadian climates versus the
U. S. climates
