I just was thinking of buying the ACI phat barrel system and I just wanted some opinions on how well it performed before I spent a lot of money.

Read the reviews. I've had first hand experience with the 1 piece Phat barrel, and its pretty good. IMO not as good as the CP 1 piece, but its still good.
