amazing..

i think he meant..

you see how the tank and adapter both have a pin sticking out in the middle?

I think you would grind down the pin on the adapter to make it just a bit longer than the pin sticking out of the tank.

I have never done this however and if you grind the adapter pin down to far it will not work and you will ruin it completely.

Also, be very careful not to get metal chips and shavings into your gun as that would cause serious performance problems and destroy the life of your gun.

So basically this seems like it would be a very tricky operation that would have to be performed very carefully or you could easily ruin your gun.

This is just my interpratation of what you are trying to do... but the way I understand it is this:

1. after you screw in the tank to the adapter and hear the gas release into the gun, only screw the tank 1/4 turn further.

2. once ready to disconnect the tank turn the tank back 1/2 turn which will take the pin out enough to disable the tank.

3. fire the marker untill the gas in the expansion chamber is depleted.

4. once the marker stops firing then unscrew the tank the rest of the way...

all done... make sence?

basically, its not gas coming from the tank when you remove it, its gas coming out of the expansion chamber.

am I a cool newbie or what?

uh yea.. mcc, like if you just unscrew your tank and its not empty, if you just unscrew it straight out there will be a big blow off of gas... this is coming from inside the expansion chamber, not from the tank..

I thought the gas was comin out of da tank. Compared to my other gun, the pin is a bit longer. O well. Ill try it next time i go paintballin. Thanks.

if you want to prevent the shavings goin into the gun, make sure you plug the little hole on the asa.
