Ok people, if you are reading this you are a paintballer. We love the sport and support it. Its one of the fastest growing extreme sports. I think its time for a change. I think we should get recognized as a official X game sport. We should at least try to get recognized by the world. So if you truly support this cause, sign here.

X Games are individual sports.
Paintball is a team sport.
It will never be an X Game sport.

I find it funny that one guy said paintballing isn't a sport. And what? Video games are? I voted yes.

The X games are for fringe sports, from Snow Boarding to Skateboard to Surfing. Why not paintball. We just passed Snow Boarding in number of people playing per year. We are one of the fastest growing sports. Why not? Its always worth a shot.

...someone needs to slap them in the face... Not to mention they sound like a retard... a threat to the world, pfft. Freaks like that are a threat to the world, not paintball. Ridiculous. Now I'm in a bad mood X(

I don't understand why it couldn't be..
Look at Olympics. It and the X games are "similar". I said similar so no one flame me. The Olympics is a majority fringe sports. Although, it has basketball, hockey, and doesn't it have baseball? I don't know.
Anyways, I think that it has the ability to be in the X games. I mean, is there a book of standards that says because you play on a team you can't be here? If so then nothing we can do.

PLEASE....NO paintball in the X-games!!!!! Paintball is a team sport...not an individual sport!!! The outdoor games channel or something is fine...ESPN would be a whole lot better. Paintball is growing fast and I think the best way to get the word out is media, radio, and newspaper!!!! Shoot....I heard about paintball by word of mouth. Then I got hooked immediately

Why not though, if the X games allows us in they will of course allow teams to play. They would (hopefully) understand the rules of paintball so they would adjust for this. Besides a lot of sports are individual sports, like NASCAR or snowboarding. It doesn't matter that paintball is a team sport.

Paintball won't be in the X-Games, and it DEFINITELY won't be in the Olympics.

Paintball will NEVER be in the X games. Why? because it shouldnt. paintball is a team sport with clearly defined rules and winners as a result of those rules. Xgames sports have none of those traits. plain and simple. oh and youre a fool for thinking anyone cares about online petitions.

As much as I support the sport, and feel it should have been inducted into the Olympics (for the love of jesus, CURLING is considered an Olympic Sport) I don't see it happening. I'll sign the petition just to show my support for the sport altho i know it's probably pointless.
Video games i think is considered sporting... Major League Gaming (MLG) actually signs peopel as professional video game players, with signing bonuses and sponsorships...FYI

You know I play naked, its worth a shot, I dont know too many ways to get 19000 signitures in one place. This is one way to do it. Besides who knows, maybe we will get lucky. I put this on the forums because I thought people who cared about the sport would show their support. Besides it takes less then a minute of your time, why not?

The link's there, and people can still click on it if they want to, but as this is just one of many threads that have dealt with this topic, it's getting closed.
