I have a question. I have a 7 peice empire kit with 6 diff bores. and a 14" front tip.

now when Im using a small bore the back fits the paintball nice and snug, maybe 6 or 7 inches.. (dont know exactally how long the backs are). now the front is HUGE, i guess it has to be so the large bores still work, but after my tiny paintbal goes through the back, its suddenly WAYYY to small for the bore. would thet not defeat the purpose of a kit? the second half is like .695 so if im using a .682 is it not ruining the accuracy by using that .695 for the end of the barrel?

the first few inches (used to propell the ball) are fine, the last 6-8 inches which is used to direct and aim the ball, are not even touching the ball because its so big.. so am i basically using a 6" barrel?

Easiest way to find out: Remove your barrel tip and fire the gun with just the back. Then compare accuracy.
My guess is that your accuracy will go way down without the tip on.

All barrels bloom in size. It's called step porting or tapering. You don't want 14" of tight contact on a ball, cause it will break from the friction.
