so ya im thinkin about getting another gun for a back up and im pretty sure that i want to stick with tippmann and what upgrade should i get im lookin to spend around $600 for a gun plus upgrade and i do like to play both woods ball and speedball and my current gun
Tippmann 98 Custom
14 inch Sniper Barrel
Cyclone Feed
Rufus Dawg level 2 Upgrade
E-grip with W.A.S.

so any suggestions

Try this:
Tippmann Custom Pro E ACT which runs for $220
Stiffi Barrel $80-87
Cyclone $50

Thats what i would do, and its comes out 350-360

Why do you need another tippmann if you have one already? Buy a used ion for 150 and use the 98 as backup.

For 600 I'd buy a used shocker or dm5. If you don't have a hopper or hpa you could probably get a new dp fusion with a 68 45 tank and vlocity for around 600.

Why are so many Ion people on the tippmann page. All I ever see is buy an Ion. Don't you people get it . We like Tippmanns and hang out on the tippmann page not the Ion page. So do us all a favor . Take your ion and go to the ion page.

Buy an invert mini ($400) or proto matrix rail ($400), then buy a good hopper and nitro tank.

then use your tippmann for woods and backup

Just buy a Promaster or Fusion. Up that and use it for speedball, then up the Tippmann a little more and use it for woodsball. Now you're happy in both games.

Promasters are $250 but you have to buy an ASA and Fusions are $350. If by "how much do they run" you mean how efficient are they, off a 72/3000 you'll get roughly 700 shots on each.

how bout u upgrade ur gun a bit and get a new one.

BUY A SHOCKER.... Or a PMR I hear those are a great buy for the money. Seriously though, why buy another tippmann when instead you could upgrade to a faster, lighter marker? Then you can have a speedball and a woodsball marker. I know someone is about to say why can't tippmann's be used in speedball, I didn't say they couldn't.. Lets just be honest, I love tippmann, so I'm not trying to flame them, but the truth is that they are outclassed in just about every aspect of speedball. That is why I converted my custom pro for mainly woodsball. (Even though I do take it out on the field every now and then to prove to some ion kids who is boss)... Buy something you like, but for god sake it makes no sense to buy two of the same gun. Unless you are going to modify one for woods and one for speed. Promasters are a good buy but the PMR seems to be the better deal. With a pulse loader it can sling paint just as well as the $1600 egos out there. I'd rethink where you wanna go with paintball, and if its staying in the woods, then just upgrade your exsisting marker to the max, and you should be good with that.

ok and to upgrade the one that i have i dont think that i want to because right im just putting piant in like evert 10sec and i already can kick *** in speed ball with it but im thinkin about a shocker but im not sure

ya i know that they dont break easy but my gun i can put out like 18 bps which is fastest enough for a feild so that wont really make and difference
