yea it does say its a lasoya pm. but its sold through actionvillage. but on the actionvillage website ALL the lasoya's are $320. the standard pm is $250. so i think the amazon site is wrong.

No Amazon is not wrong. It says $250, but it says "from new or used". But actually its new for $250, so you should definetely get it right now. I would, but I don't have the money.

I hit it! Thanks for the TIP.

It seems like a mistake though, but It said it was NEW, so even if it is a mistake, I hope that action village will still make the sale.

HEre is the E-mail confirmation from Amazon.

Good deal:tup:

I would've jumped on that too, if not for my already:
a) owning a Promaster and
b) having a strong dislike for the color blue

But the Lasoya PM seems to be a solid marker, with some advantages over the regular PM.

eddie500

I'm getting my hopes up, so I hope they don't try to back out of the deal because it was a mistake or something. Don't you think 250 is too cheap? Especially considering they are selling regular promasters for 250.

iconoclast
11-26-2006, 11:02 PM
It probably is a mistake, but I wouldn't call attention to it. Like someone said, Lasoyas regularly go for $320ish

edit: Something's weird, both the $249 and $320 are listed as new, maybe they put the regular PM price on there? Let us know when you get it...

lotus_esprit5
11-27-2006, 04:43 AM
amazon probably just made a mistake with the price they listed. still, that is the price its advertised for, if you buy a Lasoya from them for $250 they can't exactly go back on it.

I got mine from muderinc for a little cheaper, but the guy gave me a special deal after talking to him for a few days ;)

Yeah it was probably a price listing mistake made by Amazon, but if you already bought it theres nothing they can do about it.

Well that sucked, I got an e-mail telling me that they shipped it but they shipped a regular promaster for $250. I wrote them back saying I ordered a lasoya and that I felt cheated.

Well I was going to get a regular promaster anyway, so hopefully the regular one will be OK, compared to a lasoya. But the thing is I would of ordered Black.. do you think it makes a difference black or blue when playing woodsball and trying not to stick out in the woods? I just feel a blue gun would stick out like crazy.. but maybe it doesn't matter.

lotus_esprit5
11-28-2006, 06:32 AM
dude, you shouldn't just feel cheated, you WERE cheated. on their site, they have Lasoya's advertised for $250. you ordered a Lasoya PM for $250. if they send you anything else THEY ARE WRONG, regardless of whether the false advertising was a mistake. send them an email demanding a Lasoya or else you want your money back. if they refuse to send a Lasoya, get your money back, ALL of it (they may try to charge some BS charge, don't let them) and go buy your PM somewhere else.

11-28-2006, 09:48 AM
:pinocch: Ya they did lie to you and you should be able to get a lasoya PM if thats what they sold you which it is what they sold you so i would ether get your money back or try to get a lasoya PM from them.

www.bbb.org

file a complaint with the better business bureau. they're a pretty big deal, it might help you get things resolved if you have the BBB backing you up.

also, amazon has not fixed the price that the Lasoya is advertised at. you might want to take a screenshot of it now to help your case with the BBB in case amazon tries to change the price back to what its supposed to be.

babustos

I'm with lotus, they can't sell you a gun and give you a worse one because they messed up. Demand the Lasoya, or get your money back.

lotus_esprit5

a good rating from the BBB is very important to many businesses, especially online ones. they will probably be much more willing to negiate with you through the BBB than if you try to argue your case alone.

Your Request:

I ordered from amazon a lasoya paintball gun, you sent me a regular one. Here is the amazon order number and discription. I feel cheated. check with amazon you will see what I ordered.

Thank you!

The above is our corrispondance.

Well I don't know about getting the BBB involved, seems like a lot of work? But I don't want a refund I kinda want the lasoya for $250. I'll call them tomorrow as it is to late, but do you think they will exchange for a lasoya without charging me more money?

How would you bring it up with them, in a way that they may want to bargain with me?

lotus_esprit5
11-28-2006, 06:09 PM
tell them that you bought a LaSoya for $250 and that is what you expect to get. Tell them you do not want a normal PM since that is not what you bought, you bought a LaSoya PM. Tell them that it was advertised for $250, and if they refuse to back up what they have advertised and send you a LaSoya then you will get the BBB involved and file an official complaint with them for false advertising.

babustos

^^Exactly. Stick it to the man.

eddie500
11-29-2006, 08:11 AM
Called them and they said they would not exchange for same gun but would refund if I wanted. I'm not really sure if I should just keep the regular pro-master or actually pay 320 for a lasoya.

SO what do you think, is the lasoya worth 80 dollars more?

Bunkerbuster, did you get your gun yet or an E-mail confirmation saying what you ordered?

No, contact that BBB that lotus said, and talk with them. If you buy something, you should expect to recieve it. Under all circumstances. You're the customer so you should keep pressing if you've got your heart set on that Lasoya.

NO. Don't give in to the man...he deceived you. Even if you're happy with the regular PM (they're great markers), it's the principle here. If they're going to advertise one thing (and leave that ad up even though people notified them of the error), they should honor that price.

bunkerbuster007
11-30-2006, 03:27 PM
or maybe just try to get them to pay pe the price difference ($80) frim the normal PM to the Lasoya pm so i can use the money fo upgrdes....

fight the power! if they keep it up like that, cant you do something at a larger scale? im just wondering anway.

side note: IYO, can lasoyas keep up with tourney guns? (shockers, etc.)

Thats an alternative, but I highly doubt they will do that. Definetely don't give up, and contact the BBB or whatever. Just keep hacking at it.

Nothing we can do really, actionvillage is just blaming it on Amazon, saying that Amazon has not changed the price. Action village doesn't want to lose any money, but they do offer a refund so no harm done.

We took a shot, and I doubt there is anything anyone can do.

bunkerbuster, you may be better off buying a lasoya for 320 then trying to buy the upgrades you want on a regular promaster. Because you'll wind up paying probably over $200, when you could of just paid $80 dollars and had it done with.

The lasoya vigilante regulator alone probably costs the $80 dollars. Plus you would have to upgrade the bolt, trigger, etc.

So your better off returning it and buying a lasoya. IMHO

babustos

Well Amazon did change the price, its Amazon's fault. They lowered the price, and he bought it at a lower price. If you're going to spend $320 on a gun, I suggest saving up a little more and getting the Fusion.

IMO if actionvillage is going to blame it on amazon then they should give you the lasoya and then make amazon compensate them for it, but...probably not gonna happen. oh well. amazon are retards. stick to selling books and music.

the vigilante reg actually is only made for the Lasoya. I dont think it can be bought by itself. plus I dont think it would be $80, I think the original vigilante was cheaper than that. i dont see it costing more than a CP ($60). the bolt on the lasoya doesnt do a whole lot IMO and the trigger is just preference.

you could get a stock PM and CP reg and aftermarket board, would add up to around $120 in upgrades that way. so it would cost about $40 more than the Lasoya PM. however, the reg and board would be slightly better. doubt you'd notice much difference though. so I guess it depends on which you'd rather do.

blah blah blah sorry if that didnt really go anywhere my brain is fried. stupud chemistry :banghead: if I have to do another lewis dot structure i will puke.

eddie500
11-30-2006, 10:31 PM
They say the new bolt is easier on paint and easier to remove, you think it doesn't make much of a differerence? The lasoya is also supposed to have 2 regulators or guages or something.. Would that be on a CP regulator?

But I was thinking maybe its worth just to buy an invert mini, you can order it for $400 dollars. Do you think the invert mini would be much better than a lasoya?

Haha. It doesn't get any better....my week of hell concluded with one of the most difficult O.Chem tests I have ever taken....I studied all day yesterday until 2 am, woke up at 5 am, studied til 10....and I still don't think I did so hot.

wow. O chem= I still have a few more months before I do it.

I studied thuesday night for 2 hours (should've done more), wednesday for 2 hours (again should've done more), last night from 5 until 2:30am, and three more hours today. definately should have studied more. oh well. i'm about to take it so we'll see.

for the lasoya, one gauge is for the inline pressure and thej other is for the LPR pressure. stock PM's only have a gauge for inline pressure. you cannot upgrade a PM to get this feature (unless maybe you replace the front ASA with a lasoya one, I dunno if its compatible though). the bolt is supposed to be gentler, I personally dont think there will be much difference. the bolt is slightly easier to remove because the bolt pin slot is extended all the way to the back of the gun so you don't need to fully remove the bolt pin when you take out the bolt.

bunkerbuster007
12-01-2006, 12:02 PM
im just gonna keep the pm if any body really wants to no besides i dont like the lasoya trigger or that they took the "tail" of of it
