buffer o- ring

i took apart my gun and forgot to put the buffer o -ring the one thatsaround the long spring on the back of the rear bolt......do i really need it..... cus it seems kinda senceless

Well you need it.....and you don't need it. Its a little louder cuz theres nothing stoping the rear bolt from hitting the body plug but thas pretty much it except for that it takes off a lot of the recoil

Without it, your rear endcap (or whatever you have there) is going to take a lot more punishment from the hammer then it normally would without the buffer. It'll bend, dent, etc, possibly damage the endcap after a while. I suggest you just put it back in, taking apart an M98 isnt that hard.
