Ok, to start off, this was a smaller review than normal. It's only February, so I don't have access to more paint as I hoped. Plus I had only access to a 50-foot long target shoot.
Though shortly, I plan on a 75 and 100 foot target shooting with the Aradus.

Ok, at 10:00 in the morning, it wasn't very warm outside, The temperature was just above freezing. 35*F. Wind direction was zero (meaning no wind to interfere). Air speed velocity of an unmaiden swallow is still undetermined. That is, of course, a European swallow. I mean I could talk about an African swallow, but then again they are unmigratery!

Off to my chronograph. After 10 shots there, I received an average FPS of 275. Velocity fluxuation of +/-5fps.

Now I had a clamp for my last test. Howerver, I don't know if I lent it out and never got it back because I couldn't seem to find it. So I held this down as steady as possible. It wasn't hard, because at 300psi operating pressure there isn't much kickback.

*Note: Using new Diablo Dusk paint, it's small bored paint. I would presume it to be somewhere around .684 - .686 bore. So I had the Aradus adjusted to the .684 setting.

Now, every shot had a 2 second interval. Meaning after each shot, I would wait 2 seconds before firing again. To maximize best recharge rate. Both at target shooting and at the chronograph.

These shots were basically ball on top of ball. I was, needless to say, impressed. I was expecting some slight curves due to the gap, however there was none. The barrel had performed as well as implied by Psycho Ballistics.

Instead of doing groupings with inches, I figured pictures would be better for this overall testing

Cleaning up after each shooting was a *****. That Dusk paint fill is thick!

Well, on to the next barrel. My Armson Stealth. Again, chronographed. Had to be adjusted, velocity spiked up from 275 - 310fps. So after down to an average of 281fps, I was ready.

Propped on the table, again 10 shots. 50 feet away. 2 second intervals. Again, a very tight grouping. I think a little better than the Aradus, however. But I'll let you decide.

Now my Tippmann Flatline. The last barrel I reviewed since it "requires" small bored paint. I would have tested my Bigshot and DYE 12", however the paint fell right through. I didn't think it a fair observation unless I got better paint suited to their bore size.

Well, again brought down. This to an average of 273fps. Set the chrono aside, and fired 10 shots at the target, 2 second intervals again.

Now along with the shooting, I did testing on ball breaks and cleaning the Aradus.
I took a razorblade, sliced the ball a little, put it in the chamber, and shot it. I did this twice, I figured why not have a backup incase the first didn't break?

Well, they both broke. So that barrel needed a nice cleaning.

I'm not sure the company name of this squeegie. I won it a while ago, so I figured I'd use it. It's a stacked design. 1 rubber squeegie, and 3 foam ones. The end is an oppossum tail, or some kind of little tail. Maybe a rabbits foot, I don't know.

From previous uses of the squeegie, I realized it's a very tight fitting squeegie. Requiring a lot of force to pull. So I set the barrel at .692, it's highest setting. It didn't require as much force, so I was happy. However, even though a little looser, it didn't matter.

The barrel was squeegied clean. Not even paint in that little slit. I don't know if it was there and I didn't see it, but from observing that barrel over there wasn't any.
There was some paint in the muzzel brake though. That didn't matter. That happens with all barrels.

Now for quietness. Well, I was lucky enough to have gotten a ported version of the Aradus. Which you can all get now, more information of this at www.psychoballistics.com . It is very quiet. Not quite as quiet as my Stealth, but it rivals my DYE 12" aluminum in noise. Which leaves my Bigshot and Flatline in the dust, since those are cannons.

Now along with the interior, and firing... I also noticed the clicking of the barrel. On the first three settings of .676, .680, and .684 there's no problem. It clicks right into place.

However, with the settings, on mine, .688 and .692 they do not click into place. I know they can, though. Because when I ran my squeegie through it, I could click them all into place since the squeegie put a little more pressure on the inner sleeve.
So I e-mailed eric. He said that he might have put a little too much grease into mine. That, and he also said....

I is most likely just fine
see the clicks are created by the spring force of the inner sleeve
so on the 692 setting there is little to no spring force
and on the 688 setting you are only crushing on the sleeve a total of 4
thousands
2 thousands of opposing force the reason the sleeve does not turn is because
the
precision dowel pins that crush and hold the sleeve are covered in grease and
with
the little to no crush force the dowels will not grab enough to turn the
sleeve

the sleeve does not need to turn that is just a byproduct of the system

Damn you hotmail for breaking up the message like that. And damn me for being too lazy to want to make it a little more legable but I also have to leave it like that (since it's a "quote").
