Nitro tank to the gun

Newbie nitro question here. im planning on getting a timmey and a hyperflow 301 series nitro tank. I need to know how to Get the gas from the nipple of the nitro to my reg on the gun. Like do i need a quick dissconect thing hooked up to a hose or what.

Im totally confused about this, if u guys could help that would be sweet.

If it's a standard output nipple, a quick disconnect and an SS line will work great. Just attach the Quick D to your hose, and have the other end of the hose going into your regulator or gas through grip. Then have the reg/gas through grip screwed into your gun.

i have the same tank. The tank on the reg has 4 input/outputs (2 gages, 1 fill, 1 output) The gun does not have a "nipple" like your thinking of with a co2 tank. On the bottom/top of the reg on the gun you screw in an elbow or whatnot for a macroline or sshose such as you would screw it in on the bottomline. I recommend you do get a macroline because its easy to hookup/ demount (push connects and high flow).

For example my gun has the tank mounted with a Drop Zone 2, then an elbow is screwed into the tank which the macroline runs from to an elbow screwed into the bottom of my reg. To dismount the reg, i just disconnect the Macroline from the tank elbow and slide the tank out of the cradle.
