View Full Version : Quiet barrel for EM-1
I have a carbon fiber for my Em-1, and it's LOUD. I want a barrel
that is quiet and accurate. I am running very low pressure on my gun. I also only want a barrel that is black, if possible.
The nite stick by 32* runs real quiet. I have seen it in action. On an EM1 too. Alo it is fairly cheap.

hmmm but you don't really want a lot of porting with a LP gun do you? as far as i understand it that is a bad combo, so i'm thinking you are pretty much gunna need a louder barrel, try an autospirit/bigshot i think, my friends tell me mine is quiet, which is annoying to me because i bought it assuming it would be loud, but anyway, that is what i would try, autospirit or bigshot

haveing more proting will bring you up only about 10-20 psi. so unless you are a LP freak, then porting wont kill yah.

Sked Finger: He said that he wanted a black barrel if possible. The DYE SS is anything, but black :D.
Just giving you a hard time :P.

if you have the money about $200 go with the Equation MS Pro Barrel System. you cant beat it. its better than any other barrel system out there.
and No. don't go with the ported barrels. they' just waste air.
OK, OK, ill give you the reasons with the Equation is a better system than all others.
they use Teflon coated stainless steel inserts, instead of aluminum.
you can buy ported, or non-ported extensions for low pressure guns. thats what i bought.
you can buy several different styles of extensions and muzzle brakes so you can customize it any way you want. there are several different colors to choose from. so you can make your barrel, like no other barrel out there.
you can take the extension off, the muzzle break screws right onto your adapter, and you can have an 8" barrel. or you can add an extension to it and have a barrel any length you want without having to buy a whole new barrel.
if you want to use it with a gun that uses different barrel threads all you do is buy a different adapter. i think they look better. heres a couple of pics.
this one with the extension on the barrel.

The Phoenix Equation Rookie team took second at the PANAM in Phoenix yesterday. This is only their second tourny too. I have the best prices on Multi-Switch on the net. See the link below. My website, www.prodigypaintball.com, will be up and running in a couple of weeks. For now, see the link below:
