Bolts go at the speed of light!*

Once, playing with some friends, someone recommended that if you pressed your thumb against the cocking handle (on an M-98) when it was firing you could get it to go fully-auto. You could tell who tried it when you could hear people go "OW!" and then shake their hands about on the target range. :)

* Before anyone with a degree in physics says so, I know that they don't actually go that fast.

On a rear cocking marker, pressing in on the cocking rod when firing can provide a little extra "omph" to the hammer, wich means it hits the valve harder, which releases more air, wich results in a higher velocity.... Hence why "bever tails" (or their equivelent) are required on all rear cocking markers in turniment play.

Or so it was explained to me one day many moons ago.

Definetely get a bever tail, my friend cracked his lense when he went to look down the sight rail. It's just a good idea.
