Hey guys, I got a question. How long will Tippmann A5's last? Because it would suck if they just completley stopped seeling parts for the 98s and A5's..

I doubt that will ever happen, tippmann would never stop selling the best markers over night, and if they did, they would probably warn us in advance.

The question of how long it will last can only be answered by how well the owner takes care of it.

I think that makes sense.

if you oil it and keep water out of it quite a long time.

a few years at least. A-5's wont go anywhere, the 98 has been out millions of years now and they still have stuff for them, dont worry about it

I don't think A-5 owners will ever have to worry about parts unavailability. It's too popular for that.

True. Also, is it good to oil it after every time of use?

no....i say ever 3-4 times...then lube. (of course i didn't lube till like the 8th time, and hey, the 7th and 8th time i had troubles....but lubing it fixed it!)

I only lube mine once or twice a year. You don't need to do much with an A-5.

im conufsed on the question
from what i read, ur asking how long the a-5 will last in the matter of being outdated.

but i think others are taking it as how long will the a-5 last without breaking.

the a-5 is too popular right now...even if they did stop making it, parts would still be everywhere for quite a long period of time....years probly. and with their new marker, it seems as if alot of the a-5 parts might actually be on the new marker as well. but thats just me...i could be wrong
