Rt for a true Tippmann and an e-grip for a indoor Tippy.

Really it is preference. I like the r/t.

GOSH DANG, I need to get a sticky for this "r/t and e-grip" discussion. Egrip for Speed and tourney abilities.

R/T If u play recball and not a serious pball player./

triton2 you already posted a thread on this and there is plenty r/t vs egrip threads if you search.

One thing I like about the egrip is that the rate of fire NEVER goes away with bottle pressure. I have both BTW RT on the 98 and Egrip on the A5.
I do like the both

Oh the only other thing I don't like about the RT is that the valve above the grip hurts my hand sometimes.

E-Grip FTW if you play speedball but I have seen a RT do some serious speed. ;)

ummm the APE board has a covering on it, and if ur gonna play speedball, 99 times outta 100 u'll play in sun only, maybe clouds

Trust me get an APE Rampage Board, you won't regret it.

I've seen RT's compete with egrips. Anyways, it really is whether you don't mind replacing the batteries every 3 or 4 cases, or if you want to play in the rain. My egrip got seriously messed up when I played in the rain... Had a dee dee dee moment that day. If you are gonna be playing speedball though, duke is right, for the most part it will be in fair weather so no worries there. Tell us what you will be playing. And yes, the RT uses excess gas, not extra. But I wouldn't run it with a cyclone, cause there is only so much extra gas!!

ummm the APE board has a covering on it, and if ur gonna play speedball, 99 times outta 100 no one uses a tippmann for it.

Trust me get a r/t. Then you can play anytime and have no worries of batteries..

ummm the APE board has a covering on it, and if ur gonna play speedball, 99 times outta 100 ur not allowed to use a r/t in tourneys
Trust me get an APE Rampage Board, you won't have to worry about not being able to shoot becuz of low air and you won't have to worry about being slow!.
