The A5 would be the best outta the 3. Gee I wonder who will disagree...
Anyway, the A5 already comes with a hopper so the egrip will work perfectly with it. If you got the custom pro and egrip you'd have to buy a motorized hopper to keep up with it. That will cause the custom pro to cost more. Its not just for money though, the A5 is a more ergonomic design in my opinion. The X7 isn't worth the price it is now, so I'd stay away from that till it drops under $250. I liked the feel of my A5 more then my custom pro, but thats preference, go to a local store and hold and if possible shoot both markers. But the custom pro will end up costing more in the end. Just upgrade the barrel on the A5 with the money you save!

A-5 is the best deal and is the best of the choices stock. With the egrip and cyclone, you can achieve high ROFs out of the box. With the Egripped A-5, all you need is a cheap aftermarket barrel and a double trigger and you've got a very solid setup for less than $350.

The rufus dawg will still need a hopper to achieve high ROFs and has alot of less important upgrades.

The X-7 package is too expensive right now if your looking for a deal, I'd wait until the price comes down.

edit: However, buying an egrip and cyclone for your 98 would be cheaper and basically give you the same setup as the other guns for much less. Unless there is something wrong with your 98 (or it is too old to accept egrips), I recommend looking into improving your 98 before "upgrading."

I would probably say the A-5 even though i don't like how big the cyclone feed is it's probably the best out of all of them. I had a model 98 for the longest time and it seemed like everytime i played with it i had to replace something on it. im not sure on the x7 but i know that the a-5 is the ultimate all around gun. What ever you get however, i'm sure you'll be happy!:)

I'd get tha a-5. Like someone said earlier, it already comes with the cyclon feed system that can keep up with an e-grip. All you need is a barrel and a double trigger, and your set.

I'd go A-5 unless you're into speed ball, I'd go 98c.

go custom pro !! the custom pro is about 80$ cheaper and you can get an electro hopper or a cyclone and still save money and it comes with a drop, better barrel and a double trig

How About this.....an egripped a5 costs how much?? --- near 320 correct? Maybe more?

Well, on AV, a custom pro w/ egrip was 230 last time i checked.....maybe 220, so expect 100+ money extraa?? THERE IS YOUR MONEY FOR A HOPPER!!!

For one the A-5 just is an all around better gun, and plus with the e-grip, if you had the rt then you might not be able to use it for tournies and some fields, but with the E-grip you can change it and turn it of so its legal. Also there are better upgrades, like the flatline. The only problem mite be price, but its worth it.

after ur hopper they about the same, imo i think the a5 looks nicer and all ur really looking at between the 2 is looks at this point. cuz they operate basically the same..

in the end its preferance, one doesnt shoot any better then the other, try both see what feels best, if u cant decide go with what you think looks cooler :P

although remember a5 doesnt need batteries for a hopper, 98 does :)

my pick would be x7 with responce, If i ever bought anything other then mechanical it be responce, hate having electric circuits in my marker, i like mechanical and no batteries!
