just opened my new promaster and realized that the reloader b really wont fit. so i tried to get out the feedneck so i could screw in a new one, but the stock feed tube is jammed in bad. i just want to know if anbody has any idea how to get it out. i tried usin a lighter to melt loctite if for some reason they put it in there, but it didnt work. any help would be great cuz im tired of sanding the feedneck of my reloader.

use a strap wrench, and maybe a vise with a piece of leather, take off the old feedneck, then screw on a new clamping feedneck for that reloader B

I got a halo with my promaster, and I sanded it down until it was able to fit

yea i sanded mine too, but id really prefer to get the stock one out. no matter what, a clamping feedneck is always superior.

word.
best advice I could give is to do what Promaster234 said.
also, you might try using one of those rubber things that you use to get the lids off of jars when they are really stuck on. might give you some extra grip to unscrew it.

i had a brilliant idea. i wrapped the feed tube with a leather work glove and used a lever lock wrench to pry it loose. i cant believe how tight they put that mo-fo on there it was damn near impossible to pry loose.

I know this sounds weird and you already got it done but supposedly if you run a hair dryer over it for about 30 seconds itll loosen it up

im not sure if it would i ran a lighter over the base of the feedneck and it didnt loosen any. mine had the highest strength loctite though so that may be why.

well use a good pair of pliars, if youre slaping on a clamping feeneck, it wont matter if you scratch the stock one.

well if you want to sell the marker someday its nice to have stock parts to go with it and especially ones in good condition. so why not just throw a piece of fabric in between it takes like .5 seconds and it saves a perfectly good piece.
