Which do you prefer? Does one style have advantages over the other?

Well, I meself prefer the verticle reg setup. It gives me a grip and it gets the reg of the bottom of my marker. There really isn't all that much of a performance difference, its just more for comfort and preference.

So...the horizontal regulator can work with everthing the vertical can? Like drops?

Using a drop and vertical reg may be a problem if the regulator is too long, whereas the horizontal guarantees no interference. Then again, horizontal means you'll need a gas-thru foregrip if you want to hold your marker with both hands.

No, you will be fine with any drop forward and the verticle reg. They don't interfer like on the Matrices. Either or, you can do both.
