Is a regulator worth getting? If so what kind?

and correct me if im wrong, but its my understanding that a regulator will 'regulate' the amount of Co2 that enters your gun which will result in a more constant velocity and fewer velocity spikes. am i right?

Yes, it regulates the amount of gas going in. If you run co2, an expansion chamber might be better. It will give the co2 a place to turn into gas, which is much better. Unless you live place with year round perfect weather, i would buy an expansion chamber instead. If you want to run nitro though, get a reg and possible the LP kit. The low pressure kit is very nice, requires a reg too.

you can hook up a regulator and expansion chamber on the same gun at the same time. get a plamer stabelizer. some you can hook up then hook up another line through it to the x-chamber. try it
