Why are beavertails no a solid circle type thingy at the back? Is there anyreason at all. If you guys don't know what I'm talking about I included a pic. I was just wondering if having a solid back part of a beavertail would mess something up somehow. When my xtra is cocked the cocking thingy isn't touching where a full end beavertail would go. A pic on that in my next post. Please respond

If they were a solid circle, you wouln't be able to take out your bolt.

You need to be able to take out the bolt, or cocking rod on a cocker. It'd be a real pain to take them out if you had to take off your beaver tail first.
