Max flo problems????

Today me and my bro where trying to fine tune our imps at the chrono station and i have a few questions.
First of all i set my pressure to 150 and adjusted my dwell to about 170-180 and it was ok just really inconsistent. Im talkin like +/- 20 sometimes or even more. My setup is a vert reg imp,Vff, blade, pure energy 68 3k fiber tank. And this is like the second or third time ive used it. Also after like 2 minutes after i chronod it, i chronod it again and it dropped to like 230 FPS, but still at the same pressure. I think that the paint played a major role in this, cause i was breakin paint alot and the paint didnt seem too great but idk. Also it seemed like the maxflo was creepin around a little.

the max flo, like all regs, has a break in period, which could be part of the problem, Some causes of inconsistencies are the hammer itself being greased (this makes the hammer sometimes stick to the valve when it hits) bad paint (like you said) an unclean barrel, etc. My advice would be to clean and lube everything, clean your barrel, put in some fresh paint, and try again. Personally, i bet its grease on the hammer itself (or a combination of factors), but i am definitely not sure.
