which barrel is weighs less. a 14inch j&j ceramic barrel or the 12inch single piece proto barrel. also if u know any other info on the barrel. also i ready looked in the reviews im just looking for other peoples input.

I would guess that the 12" weighs less, simply because it's 2" less. They are made out of the same material (aluminum) so the weight isn't that different.

well i heard that the j&j is self cleaning. and the proto had problems when u chop paint.

The J&J has a ceramic coating that is supposed to allow it to self clean. I've only tested a J&J so I can't say whether they actually self clean or not.

I haven't tested a Proto, but the Ceramic is a very light barrel. The difference between the two is probably so minute that it doesn't matter. I don't think it really makes a difference which one you buy. Both are very good for the price.

Yea, I tried mine yesterday with BE paint to see how it cleans. I chopped at least five times. When I was done, I got my squeege, looked in the barrel, and there was nothing in there.
