Get the Sly Dual Carbon. Unbelievable barrel, lighter than the UL and w/ sick accuracy

The only things that will get you greater distance is:

1. Higher fps (please don't go above 300, especially if you are playing against me)
2. Backspin barrel like a flatline or Apex.

I personally like barrel kits. It gives you flexibility for different bores of paint.

Just get a Apex if you want distance but it won't be as accurate as a barrel kit (same goes with the flatline but Apex > Flatline)

The Apex will shoot farther than a Barrel kit, such as the P-Stickz, Scepter Kit, Freak correct? Also, With the Apex/Flatline.. would E-Grip be a good idea to use with these barrels? Like would Full Auto be a good idea to use with Apex/Flatline?

Just get a nice J&J Edge or CP 2 piece, they are more accurate than the barrel you have now, and it will shoot nicer.

If you used a E-Grip I wouldn't think the flatline would be such a good idea because if you break a ball (which if your using cheap paint you might break like crazy if your shooting fast) it's a pain in the butt to clean out... on the other hand I don't think the Apex would be hard to clean out..

I have tried alot of different barrels for my A-5. I have to say that the best one I have found is the J&J edge barrel Kit. This thing rocks!!!!. If you want accuracy don't mess around with the Flatline. I have posted reviews on both the Flatline and the J&J edge barrel Kit so check them out. The barrel kit allows you to match paint size with the barrel. Also you can pick up this kit for around 100 bucks on ebay.

Sure the flatline will shoot along way, but what good is a barrel that shoots 150-200 ft if you can't hit what you are aiming at.

Also keep in mind that accuracy also depends on the quality of paint you use. Using crap field paint that was a few months old, I am able to hit a 18"x28" target 10 out of 10 times at 75' and 8 out of 10 at 100'. At shorter ranges of 50' or less, I can head shoot someone at will.

Keep in mind I do use a red dot scope that I have sighted in.

I might reccommend using the 7-piece empire set or the empire revolver set. They are accurate up to very far ranges and are cheaper than say flatlines. Both are a very good bang for your buck
