I have a Fusion, and I love it. But I've only used it once, and the bolt pin is scratching the inside of the gun. Its not just a few scratches, they are fairly deep. When I push the bolt back and forth, I can hear the fallen debris moving around. It is worth returning to DP and possibly getting a new one? Or am I just being too rational.

Come on, what should I do?

I'd recommend giving them a call and potentially returning it for a new one. Sounds like a case where one marker is bad.

Erm, not double post? Wait more than an hour for a response in what is after all a brand new forum? :P
Anyway, it may just be the anodising wearing off - could be a very thin finish, or just low grade anodising. For that matter, it may be the grade of aluminium used.
I would suggest taking some good quality photos to send them, so that they can really see what is happening, and strip the marker to see if any metal is actually getting inside the marker - if there is, try and get a clear picture of the metal fragments as well. See what their response is.
If the company don't help, or you aren't happy with their response, and you bought the marker through a shop, return it to the shop.

Most likely, DP would get you swapped with a new fusion. They've got excellent customer support.

I can guarentee that DP will replace something. They are easily the second best customer service that I have ever had, second only to CCI, who is arguably the best service in paintball. I sent in my noid and reg to them, and I had them back by the end of the week.

I've only used it once, so its only been shot up to a case or so. Its not just the finish, its got some gashes. I'll try and take better pics, but my camera isn't the greatest. I'll just email or call DP and see what they can do.

Your camera isn't bad, you just have to know what settings to use.
Your sheetless bed is in focus, while your gun is not. Turn on your macro setting (the flower) and take new pictures.

I wandered here by accident but may I suggest taking the bolt out and looking inside for a protrusion that might be catching on it?
The bolt wont just scratch itself.. I more than bet if you think rationally you or someone will figure out what it is.
My old Icon Z had a bolt in the bottom. It was a blowback marker and there was a bolt on the bottom. The bolt had a spacer, I forgot to put the spacer in and for 3 hours couldn't figure out why it wouldn't cock or move back out.
Finally I realized.
I'm guessing your having a similar problem. Just take it apart and look for anything that might be catching it OR (big or please read!!) look for a hole that a bolt or screw or some object might come through.
Just rub your fingers around.
Good luck.
Edit* I just realized I'm almost 2 weeks late. Sorry.

Well I called DP and I'm returning my bolt and they're giving me a new one along with some other parts. They said that the bolt pin was slightly large, which was the cause of the body scratches, so its no big deal.

Good to see it got fixed.
Seems as though they do have good customer service.
Seeing as how they are a new company and relatively small I would expect their customer service to be great. When they get large and greedy they will quit caring.

Scratch what I said, I e-mailed DP and they called me on my cell phone. I don't think they'll get greedy because they only have like 5 products out, so if they do it will take a while.
