View Full Version : A5 Response Problems.
I bought a parts gun that had a response trigger.
When I got the gun home, I tested it, to make sure everything was working.
seemed to work fine, so when I installed the R/T on my new A5, it didnt seem to stay consistant.
My rate of fire would change dramatically from one round to the next, (about a 20 minute wait between games) to the point that It would not fire full auto at all if I didnt tune it immeadiately before going on the feild.
Anyone had this problem before?
My own uneducated guess tells me it could ber a faulty o-ring, anyone got any insight?

To be honest with you I have never had great luck wit RTs. I have had issues like yours and issues just finding the sweet spot of the trigger.
My limited experience (I have an A-5 collecting dust with an RT) has put me onto the the egrip with no looking backsies. And after feeling both, the egrip just feels better to me and it's MUCH quicker to snap a shot off with.
That is only my opinion. I am sure others have not had this kind of issue.

If your running co2 thats your problem. It works great with hpa.

With hpa your pressure and temp stay pretty even. Once adjusted it will stay that way right down to around 800psi. With co2 the faster you shoot the colder the marker gets the more uneven the pressure is the more the r/t screws up.
I leave my hpa tank hitched to my scuba tank while I adjust it. Once adjusted it will fire the same until the tank pressure reaches 800 psi.

I use hpa and co2 with my R/T and it seems to works better with co2. BUT I haven't bought the bigger hoses yet, so I'll have to try it with the bigger hoses before I make conclusion.

If your using hpa and are having a problem. Send the tank back and ask them to turn it up to 900 psi. Alot of people with flatline have done this to fix there problem with slow speeds.
Or buy a tank with an adjustable reg.

Really? I didn't know they would do that. I think I'll get the Low presser hoses first and see if that helps.
