If you're going to get one, go for the 12v; it's worth the extra money. As for whether or not you need one, it depends on what kind of gun you use. It would be nice to have one on my TL+, but it sure isn't necessary. I've never outshot my hopper; it just clogs occasionally. If you're using any high-end gun, you'll likely find that having one helps.

Thanks. I have a jt 4.0 and it only jammed once with no chopped balls in 750 team colors. Ill probably just save up for a good barrel like an armson stealth.
