Omen 2.0 question

I was using my Omen 2.0 the other day, and I was waisting the paint left in the hopper, when the paint was gone I was just shooting air (the gun is new to me, it was the first time shooting it) I had it tweaked to where it was bouncing, and all I had to do after a few pulls, was hold the trigger and it was shooting like an automatic paintball gun. Yet it didn't do that when there was paint in the hopper going threw the gun, I was curious if that was normal, or what the heck was going on.

Just trigger bounce, the fact that it only happens when you don't have paint indicates nothing, as markers generally behave differently when they don't have paint in the breech to put backpressure on the bolt.
