I have heard they are the same thing, but with different names. Would a spyder threaded barrel fit a cocker threaded barrel

Different threads. Cocker threads are 7 in number and tightly packed. Spyder is 5 I believe and have more space between the threads.

They are not the same. Spyder threads is for spyder threaded markers and cocker threads are for cocker threaded markers only

With a Spyder-'Cocker and vise versa Barrel Adapter, you would be able to make them work with each other. Yet then, it reduces accuracy.

Slap whomever shared that information to you. Cocker threads are not the same as spyder threads.
