looking at a ion kit and the mini drop w/ asa is included.. i have no clue what that is and what it is for.. can any one tell me

It replaces the Duckbill ASA that comes with the stock Ion. It gives you a shorter gun set up and lowers the tank by a tiny bit. If you mean you have no clue what to DO with it, replace the ASA at the bottom of your grip frame with the drop and asa, and reattach macroline.

It is an asa, or air source adapter. You screw your tank/remote inside to power your marker. The drop forward positions the asa slightly more forward on your trigger frame.
