In your opinion, post what you think is the best tippmann gun. And if you want, put why you think that particular gun is the best.

I'm not going to explode because you just joined. But, come on.. there is a search option if you are wondering what gun is our favorite.. there are prolly a dozen of these threads out there.

I'm not being a jerk, I'm informing you of the wonderful things you can use on this forum, before anyone really does explode. Lemme give some more advice before we have a similar discussion in the future.. Ultimate stickies are a good place to read up on the rules of the land as put down by the moderators, the search option is in the yellow bar near the top of the screen, and there are sub forums for just about ever other piece of equipment to be discussed. I wasn't trying to be a jerk, just showing you some stuff that everyone has to learn when first joining this forum.

I don't think you were being a jerk.

In fact you were nicer than I usually am :) .

It's understandable that many newbies want to "do" something when they get to a board, but one of the principle purposes of a discussion forum is not just to communicate in an immediate fashion (similar to email), but to store and make accessible the knowledge that passes through it for user who come later.

I know you understand that, I am just making a general statement for those that come later :moped: .
Provided they figure out to use search :).

Ok, to actuallly answe your question, the Tippmann A-5 owns all the Tippmann's. I own both the 98 and the A-5 and I can bet I would choose an A-5 over any kind of 98 any day. I am not dissing the 98, I loved it when it was my main gun but now I have moved on to bigger and better things. I have a bunch of reasons I can list to compare the two but I am about to leave and Im tired.

There is no one best Tippmann. You will have to look at it each feature of each model and decide what fits you best.
