Paint rolling out of PTX

Why does paint always come out of the barrel for my PTX? I have a finger in there, but no holster; and find when i point the gun down, paint will roll out, or I'll have a double feed. What's goin on here? I suppose I shuold get a holster too... happens alot when i put the thing in my pocket

sounds like you need a new ball dentent, their sole purpose is to prevent that from happening....i believe its part #20 in the PTX manuel. just call 32* tech support and they'll send u a new one.

you can also try putting a little wax, or a tiny o ring, or anything small just behind the ball dent if you see that there is nothing wrong with your ball dent. this will make the dent stand out a bit more, and help stop a ball from rolling out. it worked for me...

i'd do that if i was going to play soon and needed a quick remedy... but you should definately call 32* and get a free one mailed to you and just use the wax or whatever until it arrives.

i agree that is probably your ball detent but you might be using paint that is too small, so just consider that too.
