i got a shocktech bolt for my TL+ a few weeks ago and have had nothing but problems with it. It chops balls like nobodys business. I've asked around and no one else has had a problem with their ST bolts. I've tried new o rings, a spring kit, lubed the crap out of it and even tried turning the velocity all the way down and nothing seems to work. I dont know if i got a defective bolt or what the deal is. Any help would be greatly appriciated. -thanx-

Chopping balls is usually a result of your loader not feeding properly if it is breaking in the breech. It's probably just a coincidence that you changed your bolt at the same time. Take a look at your elbow to make sure paintballs go through it easily and check your hopper and elbow for dirt. Only thing I can really think of.

he may also want to check the new bolt with his old bolt is he got the wrong bolt and it is longer it will not clear the breach completely just slammin the crap oughta ball compare the shocktech to your old bolt make sure length is the same and that where the cocking mechanism connects that they are the same length after the connection point or the bolt will come back and prematurely hit the rubber stop....
also double check you ball detent and make sure the new bolt has been chopped it because of the way the new bolt hits the ball detent it may have damaged it because of the wear pattern of the new bolt...
