I am going to get a 68ci 4500 psi tank for my Tippmann 98. My friend says that I need to get other stuff for it, but I don't know what I should get exactly. It comes with a regulator but he said that it'll still destroy my gun unless I get something else. What is he talking about? What do I need in order to get a nitro tank for my gun? Thank You.

your friend is stupid...you don't need anything else. Just buy the nitro tank, screw it in your ASA, shoot people...it's just that simple.

You dont need anything else, unless you have the LP kit. You dont have the LP kit right?

Make sure you test out the RT on some one elses nitro first, not all of the RTs will work with nitro. Some have issues for some reason. Make sure you find out!

excellent. some rt's wont work, so nitro would be a big bust then.

What happens with N2/HPA is that it starves the RT or air. All of them will work on N2/HPA, its jsut that since the pressure of an HPA tank is regulated down somewhat, there wont be as much "reactivity" as normal on the trigger. Call Tippmann and ask them about larger diameter hoses you may need if your going to be running N2/HPA. Your friend is kinda ignorant. Just pick up a preset tank (PMI, Crossfire, AA Me'Lee, CenterFlag 420, etc.) and screw it into your gun likea CO2 tank. The output pressure is similar to that of CO2, (~850psi), so it will work fine. Just make sure you don'y get an LP output tank on a non LP M98.
