i have a 98 custom. so far i've only upgraded the barrel. i ordered a drop forward but havnt recieved it yet.

i should probably get a cyclone feeder before a RT right? is there anything anyone would recommend before i do those two things? and the only thing i need is that T fitting from tippmann to have cyclone and RT. would these be the best next upgrades for my tippy? i see some kits on ebay that come wtih cyclone kit and RT kit for 108. does a response trigger considerably raise ROF?

the response trigg can b a good thing and a bad thing at the same tym. it does raise ur ROF...just lightly squeeze the trigg and it will b full auto which is good 4 getting out of tight spaces...which if u need full auto 2 get out of a situation u prolly dont belong there neway...but the bad thing is if u dont kno a lot about the rt ur gonna b in 4 a rude awakining...2 of my friends have em and they r alwayz having prob...they r easy 2 fix but since they dont kno a lot they have no idea watz going on...if u research it out b4 u buy it im sure itll b fyn...although im not sure if the cyclone feed would b the best bet...i recommend a high end electric loader lyk a halo or revvy but if ur just goin 4 woodsball than stick 2 the cyclone

"The Response trigger can be a good thing and a bad thing at the same time. It does raise your ROF; just lightly squeeze the trigger and it will be like full auto, which is good for getting out of tight spaces. However, if you need full auto to get out of a situation than you probably don't belong there anyway.
The bad thing is if you don't know a lot about the RT than you're gonna be in for a rude awakening; 2 of my friends have them and they're always having problems. They're easy to fix but since my friends don't know a lot they have no idea what's going on. If you research it before you buy it, I'm sure it'll be fine, although I'm not sure if the cyclone feed would be your best bet: I recommend a high-end electic loader like a Halo or Revvy, but if you're just going for woodsball than stick to the cyclone."

Hope that helped!

Revvy's aren't high-end loaders. Stay away from the Cyclone though.

why stay away from the cyclone? the reviews on it were good. i do want a fast feeder though. i dont want to have to worry about outshooting my loader. and also i dont really play woodsball. there is one speedball course wehre i go. but theres other ones that have some trees and big spindles and bunkers and a castle . but when all my friends get our own guns im sure we'll find our own place to play in the woods. so ill be doing both.

It wastes gas. It relies on your gas supply. Should the line break, you are for lack of better terms screwed. It sticks out the side of your gun, giving your opponents something to shoot at even before you snap out of the bunker. An Eggy will be much more reliable and feed faster.

is an eggy a revolution II?

Hi

The cyclone doesn't waste gas. It uses the waste gas from the marker.
The cyclone does make your marker a little bigger of a target.
And I wouldn't worry about your air line breaking. I would worry about a battery hopper running out of juice.

The Tippmann is not set up to be a good air eff marker.
On a stock marker. The Rt or cyclone uses no extra air.

Now if you go with a battery hopper. Replace your power tube and add a rva your marker will use less air. If your marker is set up this way and you changed it to run a cyclone then you would notice it using more air.

As said a stock marker will not use more air with a cyclone.
Check with Tippmann they will tell you the same thing.

Hope this helps

An Eggy is an Evolution 2 or 3. It's nicknamed the Egg because of its shape.

are there powertube upgrades to make it more c02 efficient? adn rva's?

nevermind....i read that those ^ dont do much.

so question on anti siphon. you have to turn that hose toward the top of the tank right? so everytime you put it on your gun you have to make sure that its int eh same position everytime so its upwards dont you? wont that be kinda hard? everyime i try to screw my barrel on to make the logo on the side...it ALWAYS ends up on the bottom side facing teh ground

Hi

If you use a rva and a power tube with out a rt port.
Than you use the rva to turn up or down the marker speed.
Its caused by how hard your hammer hits the valve.
With out the rt port and putting less tention on the spring it will use less air.

My A5 I have an rva and a Q-Loader. I have found that I get a lot more shots from hpa with this set up.

Rva will help with any set up but I'm not sure if a RT or cyclone will work right with the rva. I changed my set up to quick and didnt test it with the cyclone.

But if you have a 98c without a RT and a battery hopper. I would use a rva it will save on air. And I mean by 100 shots or more.

i dont get how RVA increases efficiency . RVA= rear velocity adjuster right? its just the velocity adjuster in the rear isnt it?
i understand a lil more. trying to comprehend what you wrote

why does the RT and cyclone come with a different powertube? all the pictures i look atof the kit they have a power tube in it. why is that?

The rva adjusts the velocity by spring pressure. The harder the hammer hits the more air that is released. So if the hammer hit easier less air is released.

Tippmann velocity adjuster works on a screw blocking the air flow foward. So the extra air goes back to the hammer and is wasted.

By using a rva and leaving the tippmann vel adjust turned full out.
you will use less air and not force all the extra air out the back.

You are not hitting the valve as hard which cause the valve to send less air out of it. Your velocity screw is not in the way so the air goes down the barrel.

your using spring tention to adjust the velocity not blocking the air.

The R/T and Cyclone work on back pressure from the marker. Its just an extra hole for back pressure to flow thru to power the R/T Cyclone.
