I know an anti-siphon tank will help if i get an impulse, but will it effect the performance of my spyder?
It willaffect any gun as long as your gun is set up to need and antisyphon tank! If you have remote or verticle air you do not need it.

If you are going to use the same anti-siphon tank on two different markers make sure they ave the same bottom line threading. If you install the tube for one gun, and then when you screw it into a different gun it might be upside down and will only suck liquid. Screw a tank you have into one of your guns, mark the top of it with tape or somthing, then screw it into the other and see if the tape is on top. This will tell you if they are threaded the same and can use the same tank.

if its not cold where you live you shouldnt be in any great need of an anti siphon.. also do you play with a remote or does the gun have an inline reg/Exp chamber?

yeah i'm using an exp chamber so it's cool, but if i get an impulse i'll get one because that gun is worth it
