I have a trilogy pro and am about to buy a barrel. I use many different paints, so I'm gonna but a kit. Out these, which would show the most improvement to accuracy? (I,m trying to stay under $150)
1. Total Freak System
2. Empire Revolver
3. Sanchez G3
4. Evil Pipe

Agreed. Do NOT get the Evil Pipe kit in Angel threads with a cocker adapter. It defeats the purpose of the kit.

Personally, for any kit for a cocker, I would go for a Scepter, a J&J Performance Edge kit, a Kaner (My favorite), or Pepperstickz.

I would say freak. Most people will disagree, but it's the most accurate barrel i've ever used.

In this case, I agree, the Freak would be the superior barrel because of the insert control bores. However, if we want to talk insert barrels, I would go for the Powerlite Scepterk, which runs for about $125.

The scepter is definitely a superior insert based kit. The pipe is also a great kit, but has backs instead of inserts. The J&J Edge is a great kit if you're on a budget. You can find it for under $100.

Well I guess I've been looking for a barrel kit and I'm really liking the custom products barrel kit for my Etek. I was thinking about the Freak kit but...IDK...I want a stainless steal back but it seems a lil expensive. I was also looking at SLy barrel kits and J & J....so many to choose from.

I'm also looking at the reviews and it seems that Scepter has a really good rating and less complaints. Would it fit my E*Tek ok?

The Lucky Un1tech isn't talked about much either but it's been getting a lot of praise lately. Can't tell you from personal experience yet because i haven't gotten mine but check out reviews or the vast discussions over on pbn.

Between the Freak or the Scepter, I'd go with the scepter. They have a reputation for having better inserts.
Tho I personally dont like the insert barrel kit system, so I'd say my top choice would be the MacDev Matchstik. Serious accuracy from those things with medium sized, and large bore paint. IF you can find one. Until macdev re-releases them again.
Empire makes a good barrel kit, Redz makes a good barrel kit. Evil makes a good kit. But yeah....dont get the angel threaded adaptored barrel kits from Evil. Not only does the adapter act as a control bore, as Mec stated, but they are also badly designed, and cause a lot of barrel breaks.
I havent tried the empire or redz. But the Pipe works really well with small bore paint like Marbs, or Impact.

Basically, out of all the brands listed, look for what you can find that has the widest selection of bores available to it. That would prolly be the freak, but...well....there's complaints about the freak, along with all the compliments.

I have heard good things about the Empire kit, I say go for that or the Freak or Evil Pipe kit.
